# CUT Studio — reusable music and sound library

Updated 2026-09-12. The library contains **19 music tracks, 32 sound effects, and 6 reaction recordings**. Files are bundled with the app; playback is not tied to the owner's computer. Source links, license links, attribution, SHA-256 hashes, and original file sizes are recorded in `catalog.json`.

## For a quiet daily vlog

The Director defaults to **Quiet Morning**, **Study Flow**, or **Light Trip**: original synthesized music with no required credit. See `original-music.json` and the site’s `/licenses#original` usage permission. Additional options include **Study And Relax**, **Late Night Radio**, **Night in Venice**, **Easy Lemon**, or **Bossa Antigua**. These are editing suggestions based on the publishers' descriptions and instrumentation, not tracks identified from the reference videos. Keep natural location sound where it adds context. Music volume is adjustable; the same percentage will not produce equal perceived loudness across different recordings.

- Evening / reflection: Late Night Radio, Night in Venice, Almost New.

## Use in CUT Studio

Choose **Use as music** to add one background track across the sequence, including the opening and ending. Use Full preview to adjust volume, fade-in, and fade-out. Music loops when needed.

For a sound effect or reaction, select a clip in **Place after**, then choose **Use at selected cut**. One sound may be attached to each gap, including the gap before the ending. Adjust the sound or its volume in that gap's transition settings. Its position follows the durations of preceding clips, including speed, trimming, and opening highlights. Reordering transition gaps is independent of moving video cards. Sounds are included in Full preview and the exported file; tails are clipped to the sequence end. Free placement within a clip is not implemented yet.

Six transition samples illustrate clean cuts, dissolves, fades through black, wipes, slides, and flashes. The gallery can apply a style between all main clips. Full preview plays simple cuts with timed sound; visual transitions are composited into the export.

Music by Kevin MacLeod is available under **CC BY 4.0** with attribution. Each music card has a credit-copy button. Paste its credit into the video's description and indicate edits such as excerpts, looping, or volume changes. The files here are unmodified originals. The six existing reaction recordings have individual CC0 source records in `catalog.json`. No audio was extracted from the user's YouTube reference videos. A license does not guarantee that automated Content ID will never produce a mistaken claim; retain the relevant attribution and source records.

차분한 브이로그는 음악을 낮게 깔고, 물건 놓는 소리·발걸음 같은 현장음을 살리는 것부터 시작합니다. 효과음은 모든 컷에 붙이지 않아도 됩니다. 장소 변경에는 짧은 디졸브나 검정 페이드, 물건이나 자막 등장에는 작은 효과음 한 번 정도를 시험하세요. 이 수치나 연출은 편집 제안이며 참고 영상의 정확한 편집값을 분석한 결과는 아닙니다.

원본 소리를 끄면 말소리와 현장음이 함께 꺼집니다. 말소리 분리와 음악 비트 맞춤은 아직 지원하지 않습니다. 자동 믹스는 확인한 말하는 구간에서 음악을 낮추고, 현장음·여백 장면에서는 음악을 끄며, 장면별 음악 전환을 지원합니다. 목소리·배경 소리가 섞인 원본에서 목소리만 분리하는 기능은 아닙니다. 음원 선택과 재생에는 유료 AI 호출을 사용하지 않습니다.

## September 12 resource expansion

Three additional Kevin MacLeod tracks (CC BY 4.0) and eight Kenney UI Audio sounds (CC0) are included. See [the curated guide](resources/guide.ko.md) and [added asset manifest](resources/added-assets.json). The Director now previews and selects music before assembly. Optional beat edits use the measured grids of the three original tracks only. Additional catalog BPM values do not imply validated beat detection.
